Could someone give an estimated time frame in which they actually received their approved Visa, preferably those that have dealt with the US Embassy in Jamaica? We got approved on Monday 3/3, and today is a government holiday (Ash Wednesday), so we are just wondering about the common time frame. Checking everyday all day is driving me crazy lol

By tomorrow evening your CEAC status should say visa issued... then two business days after you should receive your waybill # which would be Monday. And if its being delivered to Montego Bay it would be about Tuesday. Then that same day its usually available for pickup. But because the waybill email is sent out late you will more than likely picking it up the next day. So i would say Wednesday or Thursday u should be expecting your visa! Btw...congratz!!!

Everyone says the waybill should be 2 days after issued date but I was issued on 3/27 and still no waybill #. Getting kind of frustrated with the this process....So close to the finished line yet so far

We were approved 2-27-14 and although the status has been updated a few times, it is still at "Non-Immigrant - Ready" since 3-3-14. People have said different things, but I wouldn't mind if it just jumps to "Issued" now. So his visa can jump in the DHL truck to MoBay and land ever so gently in my fiance's hand on the way to the airport... Off-Topic2.gif (sorry, I'm always drifting off and dreaming of happy beginnings yet to come.)

Just try to be patient and enjoy daydreaming to pass the time. wub.png

It seems everyones time frame is different bc Waybill received Monday, available for pickup yesterday, he left work and got it today !!! But I did see where some had it within 2 days, and bc lat week was a holiday, I expected a little delay. I said if I hadn't heard anything today I was going to be reaching out to the consulate. You may want to try that ...I hope you guys hear something soon :)
