2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

Glad to hear the numbers are sorted! Have you been calling to check up on AOS? I was planning on making my first call to check on it this Friday, and to see if I could wheedle some estimates for the IV invoice out of them as well. One week down (since DS-261), I'm hoping it won't be more than two more to go...

They gave me an estimate of 10 business days for the IV from the time of filing the DS-261 which would be putting me around March 18th, but I think it will likely be longer than that judging by most people having waited longer on here for theirs. I've been calling daily to check on the AOS. I know per USPS that it was delivered so if it isn't in the system by the end of this week as being received, I will be concerned.

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

Exactly. I'd really like to believe it'll be 10 business days, but given the experiences of other members on this thread that doesn't seem reasonable. Still, if I get a non-Todd operator who gives me the same estimate, I might get my hopes up a little bit for next week. It's a dangerous game tongue.png

I have a question? We filed 2013 taxes as MFJ with W7 applying for ITIN # for myself. If we can send in the AOS before tax transcript is available(could take 6 weeks) should I send a copy of the W7 application along with tax return and w2's for the AOS?

just run into my mind, what if we send in our AOS packet without our co sponsor?expecting to have a checklist but atleast if there's a correction with hubby's AOS we can correct it. would they require us to send the whole AOS packet again (hubby & co sponsor) or just the missing co sponsor if ever.

any opinion???

I know this is more interview related but I thought if anyone is going to know, it is you :-)

I saw somewhere that you should bring the original tax returns to the interview? Is this the case and how can we do this if we have already submitted them to NVC?

You'll still do the DS-261 and DS-260 online, but documentation for the affidavit of support and immigrant visa application will need to be physically mailed in.

Does anyone have experience with how long it takes for them to look at a checklist? I -know- thing are going much slower now due to backlog, but I would hope checklists would be easier for them to look at.
