I have no idea why they need 60 days to provide a case number,i wish they are giving the wrong information maybe is because I have been calling everyday.

They told us 30 business days but we got our case # in 17 business days. However, they have had been saying, there are delays due to a backlog.

How long is the police certificate valid for? My parents got theirs at the end of January, so is it still ok? (they haven't committed any crimes since then...that I know of :P)

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

Depends on the consulate or embassy. I know Montreal accepts them for a year, but London may accept them for less.

Hi we did ours in scotland for like £15 for just one photo at a photographer. And then we realized there was a photobooth at the closest mall with the US visa option. And then I saw another one at Boots for very cheap as well. Hope this helps!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

-2013-04-22: NOA1 (Case transferred on 12/04) -2014-02-07: NOA2 -2014-02-24: Case received at NVC (Case # received on 03/27) -2014-03-29: DS-261 completed -2014-03-31: AOS fee paid (shown as PAID on 04/02, package sent on 04/03) -2014-04-04: IV fee paid (shown as PAID on 04/08, package sent on 04/05) -2014-04-08: DS-260 completed online -2014-04-14: AOS & IV packages received at NVC (entered in the system on 04/17 and 04/18) -2014-05-05: AOS checklist (phone), joint-sponsor's proof of citizenship lost (other copy arrived at NVC on 05/08, NVC "received" the checklist response on 05/09)
-2014-05-09: IV package accepted
-2014-06-04: Case complete
-2014-06-11: Interview scheduled (July 23rd - APPROVED)

waiting for the response to the checklist letter for the Affidavit of Support (Form I-864). Please return
the requested information so that we may complete the processing of your case.

^^I just rec'vd that from NVC,

I mailed the AOS package out on 1/31

I mailed the IV package out on 2/10

I completed the DS-260 & submit it on 2/11

Maybe it's a false checklist??

I found a list of photographers on the US embassy London's website, so I'm sending them to a chemist (pharmacy) this weekend to get it done correctly. Thanks everyone!

That is if you gave both email addresses to the person you spoke to at NVC. Enjoy the moment.

I received a checklist just now for my AOS. it said that "income indicated on the I-864EZ part 19 does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2's . What should be in there? I put in the Wages, Salaries, Tips and ETC on my transcript. Is that incorrect? please help.

There should be more in there.. I got the same email, but at the end there will be General Instructions.

December 21, 2012 - Went back in the Philippines for first anniversary.

January 29, 2014 - Receive case number, invoice and beneficiary ID number

February 7, 2014 - DS261 available online and submitted

February 10, 2014 - received an email regarding AOS processing fee bill invoice

Februay 12, 2014 - AOS showed PAID on line/ AOS package sent ( one day delivery)

February 13, 2014 - NVC received the package

February 18, 2014 - AOS was entered in the system

February 24, 2014 - received an email to pay IV fee, paid IV fee, IV fee in process

February 27, 2014 - DS-260 available online, completed and filed up. IV package sent (one day delivery)

February 28, 2014 - IV package received at the "dock"

March 4, 2014 - IV package was entered to the system

March 7, 2014 - Received a checklist for AOS (GGGGRRRRRR!!!!)

March 10, 2014 - Respond to the checklist ( sent package via UPS)

March 11, 2014 - Package received @ the dock

March 19, 2014 - IV package and DS260 approved (via phone call)

March 27, 2014 - Case Completed ( called NVC 2X just to make sure, now waiting to be forwarded to Manila Embassy Yehey!!!)

May 11, 2014 - Hubby's Flight from Philippines to USA (yahoo!!!! 2 more days!!! I will be with him forever!!!)

I just got off the phone with NVC. CASE COMPLETE!

I am crying with relief; now we are waiting on an interview date.
