If we can email everything to NVC, should we still put case# on all pages?

I did ;) You'd be surprised how NVC can lose papers, even digital ones rolleyes.gif

Yippeee I just paid! Now I am wishing that I had a rubber stamp to stamp on their case numbers on each page of the AOS packet. My hand is going to be sore writing on each page.

On a side note, the NVC gave me an error when I first tried...turns out that it doesn't like hyphenated names and wants to have the surname typed all together. Nothing is ever simple with this immigration malarkey.

Me too! I'm following you the whole way.

on the line with NVC. tryna find out if my case has been mailed out to embassy.

hope its the last time i ever have to hear this:

“Thank you for calling. Our staff is working hard to take your call next. When we return to the line, please let us know how we may serve u.

Because of the personal attention given every caller, you may experience a brief delay. Please remain on the line. A representative will assist you momentarily.

All of our representatives are still busy assisting other callers. Please remain on the line as the next available representative will be with u momentarily. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

We appreciate your patience while waiting and assure u assistance is just a moment away. Your call is very important to us and we look forward to speaking with you.

We know your time is valuable. Thank you for holding. Assistance is just a moment away. ”

ClockWatch2.gif

Oh yeah those lines..I remember hearing them over and over for half an hour every time I call NVC. It was ok at first. But then it became annoying after so many weeks hahaha. I just had my case complete last Monday so hopefully this is the last month I'll be hearing those lines too.

I've got a section on my wiki about scanning and how to add case numbers digitally ;) If you don't have Adobe Acrobat, you can use Photoshop to add the numbers, or you can hand-write them in, then scan it, or you can use post-it notes and scan them in. (If you use post-it notes, you technically only need one and just re-use it for each paper you scan in wink.png )

It used to be one big PDF file, but a couple months ago, they re-designed their website and updated the EP section. I updated my wiki a few weeks ago about this, also in the scanning section.

Just called NVC to check if they received my petitions (I-129F and I-130).

NOA2 26-Feb-2014, shipped to NVC 27-Feb-2014, I was hopping, but NO, they don't have them yet!

The guy told me it could take up to 8 weeks from NOA2 to issue a case #.

I hope that is not the case!!!!!

How ironic!!! We actually are anxiously waiting for a bill to pay. This will happen once in a lifetime. During the immigration application process.
