NVC Filers - March 2014

Gosh darn it, the AOS fees are still not available to pay! You would think that this would be automatically invoiced as soon as the DS-261 is complete.

This is driving me mad as well. We got case numbers a week and a half ago, NVC has emailed directly instructing us to go pay the AOS, yet they still haven't made it available. I can't imagine how or why on earth their system works this way.

I received my I 130 approval in January and the NVC received my case on February 24 but I still have nit received my case number which filter month do I belong to

Ok, so after stressing out all night about sending my 2013 w2 without the tax return info, I called NVC this morning. I spoke with Vanessa ( VERY nice ). She said as long as I put 2012 where it asks for the most recent year I should be ok. Which I did. I feel a little better but as we all know sometimes people don't give the correct info. I'm just praying for no checklist!!!!!

and to add insult to injury, the fricking monkeys that input data obviously cannot read or are just lazy. My Mums address is listed as being in Great Britain and Northern Ireland whereas my Dads is listed as being in Ireland! No wonder that they were redirected to Dublin instead of London.

...and that was a grand total of 29 times to redial this morning to get through to the NVC. They need to get more lines...its not like they can't afford it with the amount of money that they are getting from all of us.

Hi, I'm pretty much following on Smitten's heels in terms of dates. I was transferred from NBC to TSC. You can add me to the spreadsheet.

I got my NOA2 on 12/30/2013, NVC received my case on 1/21/2014, got my case # over the phone on 2/26/2014 and filled out my DS-261 yesterday 3/4/2014.

So it's a good idea to send paystubs with AOS to show current income, but I've seen posts saying 6 months of them(this seems a little excessive to me) how many paystubs should I send?

I sent all 6 months. That's what the instructions say. Since I get paid every 2 weeks it's only 12 sheets of paper. Better to be safe than sorry!!

I called this morning at 8:15. Was on hold for 15 min. Keep trying.

Ok so just called - spoke with Todd (nice guy). Changed the address for my dad since it still wasn't correct. He at first told me that I couldn't over the phone if he wasn't still living in Ireland. I said he never lived in Ireland. He lives in Northern Ireland. Todd got a geographical lesson this morning. He said that the payment system for AOS fees was about 24 hours behind the email notification and try again later today - time will tell.

My Dads case number is not changed yet. Right now as the case numbers stand, he will be interviewing in Dublin and my Mum will be in London...Yep that's what Todd told me. .
