I got a checklist today no case complete :(

But, I have seen other checklist and they have "x" on it, mine does not have that. This is requesting police clearance certificate. But, in India the mumbai counsulate also requires a PCC that too original. My uncle has filed for his daughter and he didn't send one in, yet he got a letter stating we will now schedule your interview but the same thing as me at the bottom. He also had other sponsor related stuff that had "x" on it.

Does this mean my case will not move forward until I present the PCC or is it processing smoothly? Here is how it looks.

Please help! onthe call with NVC hold music :(

3 day with yellow triangle and still not payable, huh, how many days approximately?

I don't think it should take very long. If it still isn't payable by Friday afternoon in America, I would give NVC a call to make sure there isn't an error in their program.

I am the UCS and I live in Australia with my husband where I have been employed for the last 2+ years. I have been filing/paying taxes in both countries for the duration.

Because I do not have a job in the USA I am using my parents as joint sponsors, they meet the income requirement but my Dad is self-employed and my Mom is contract labor.

How do I provide pay-stubs for my Dad and my Mom (if she is not a salaried employee)? Also, because my Dad is self-employed I won't have an employment letter for him showing income and position.

I have their passports, birth certificates, and 2012 Tax Returns.

Do I have to request originals of their Tax Return Transcripts?

If you can not get an employment letter for your dad, I would suggest sending in proof of self-employment. Such as copies of license of own business or similar documents.

Can my father inlaw be our co sponsor?eventhought just last february 2014 retired on his work.. and he also a co sponsor of my sister inlaw last november 2013.. do you think guys he can be our co sponsor too?

Thank you

I am not sure if he can still sponsor if he has retired, that was not too long ago though. Other than the retirement, he can sponsor even if he sponsored your sister in law, you would just have to add a 1 on the I-864 section where is says if he has sponsored anyone before on an !-864 and increase the household size by 1, make sure income is enough for the new household size.

Hi all!

Really excited to finally be able to post a question to the NVC thread...progress!!

My fiancé and I FINALLY received our NOA2 last week after an agonizing 6 months and 1 week and are waiting on some indication that our case has been shipped to the NCV. No NOA2 hardcopy yet...

My question is 3-fold:

1) what do we do with the NOA2 hardcopy once it arrives? Does my fiancé have to have it at his interview or just hang on to it for our files and send a scanned copy?

2) how should we receive the notification that our file has been shipped to the NVC? Another text alert? Change on the USCIS.gov website? Is it possible that we wouldn't receive any news but the case had already been shipped?

3) Anyone with any experience with requests to process an application at a different Embassy outside beneficiary's home country (fiancé is Moroccan but works in Qatar)? Can someone confirm that it is at the NVC stage that this request is considered? Any thoughts on the likelihood of that being honored?

Since our NOA1-NOA2 took AGES, we're anxious to keep these next steps flowing smoothly, so thanks for any info/insight you can offer!

I think someone already answered you 1 and 2 questions. your process might be different than the Cr1/Ir1 process. Although from what I know, the application will be sent to the embassy closest to the beneficiary's location. Seems like it will go to Qatar and not Morocco, unless you change his address.
