Paid my AOS bill on 03/14 showed up paid on 03/18. will I need a new invoice # to pay the IV fee? or is the same one. thanks! hoping to pay my IV invoice this week.

Both payments showing as paid however havent submitted AOS and IV documents yet.It might take few weeks.Question here is, can i complete the DS260 online meanwhile as its already available or should i wait for all my documents to be reviewed by them and then do DS260 at the end?

Same invoice#. When it is available, it will show up as payable on the portal.

can anyone help me out... the iv and aos bill shows paid. can i send the iv and aos packets then fill out ds 260? or the ds260 needs to be filled out first before sending the packets????

Yeah same situation here. Infact I sent out my AOS documents over the weekend and they will get it tomorrow but I am assuming until AOS documents are verified and approved, the bill for IV will not be generated.

hello all, just wanna ask how long does it usually take to know your case complete as well as interview date once iv packet is submitted? coz i want to plan when i can render resignation.. i need 3 months before i can be cleared to work. thanks in advance! God bless us all

No, that's not the case. IV and AOS path are independent. Your IV bill will be generated once the DS-261 is reviewed and accepted.

It's really hard to say as there is no specific timeline. The safest bet is to holdon to your job until the interview. Once approved and you have the visa in your hand , you have 6 months to travel. I think at that point you can give your letter if resignation.

Really because I completed my DS261 earlier last week and it was accepted. I am assuming accepted meNs that green check mark . After that the bill for AOS was generated and processed ( on Griday last week) but as of today or IV it still says not available.

It hasn't even been a week for your DS-261. Until NVC accepts it (have you called them no IV bill will be invoiced. Has nothing to do with AOS.

Yes, the green check mark simply indicates 'Submitted'; not accepted or reviewed. After couple of days from submission it'll get accepted in to the system (You'll have to call to find out no way to tell from the online system) and after that they'll review it. Once they review it; you'll get the IV bill.

You should call because the case complete email comes a week after case complete.

No you do not get a email when they send to consulate.

You get an email when you interview is scheduled usually within hours of the scheduling. And that's that. Casefiles usually go out within a few days. If you want to track it there's many things you have to do and you have to call and then go to DHL (See the NVC wiki on that).

Thanks. I guess then another couple of days. I didn't know that. I thought it was more like a step by step process. I guess I should get ready to pay the fees in a day or two. Thanks for this info.
