Best of the luck on the K-3 thing. Do let me know if that worked for you.

You should get a text/email when it ships out. I got one 3 days after they approved my petition.

Thanks.... I hope it works out.

Unfortunately, the TSC is slower than a snail. I wonder if if depends on what day of the month your file gets approved since they send the files over in batches to the NVC ? Do they transfer files twice a month? once a week? or when they reach 500 to a batch? The letter I received from TSC the day after I was approved said my file was at the NVC. I'm not dumb enough to believe it is already there... I wonder if it says it was shipped in their system?

Talk to NoelAnne.. Her K-3 is being processed as we speak so don't jump the gun on spreading the " administratively closed" fable ! The backlog is so bad at the NVC, Some K-3s are squeaking by.. So that is what I am hoping for. I know the K-3 process well. I waited too long for my NOA2 .. If I can avoid all this NVC nonsense.... That is what I am gong to do. I don't care about the additional $1000 dollars. If I have to do the I-130 then so be it. I will be calling for my K-3 case number and following it to the embassy.

Does the TSC send out a notice that your case is sent to the NVC? Yesterday I received 3 responses to all the service requests I sent over the last few weeks. One response stated that it was responding to 3 inquires all at once ( LOL) anyway, the response form TSC said my case is not with them anymore, that is was sent to the NVC and gave me all the contact information in the response. SO, is there an officially shipped notice? Will I get a text? Just wondering

I agree with you, I got approved for both and I need to go for K3 to avoid the wait on I-130, I waited enought to get my NOA2, and same here do not care about 1000$, I just need to get my family here faster, Do I have to file a waiver to get my K3 processed instead of I-130?

I am sure someone asked already, but I can't find it:

I did send ENROLL email, then paid my AOS and emailed the AOS package on March 10th. Only 4 days later (on March 14th) I got my ENROLL confirmation and another ENROLL confirmation email yesterday for some reason...

The guide was updated on March 14th saying not to send the packages before getting ENROLL confirmation. Should I resend AOS package? I called NVC, but of course did not get any clear answer except some "blablabla everything is good", the operator clearly had no idea what I was talking about.

Ivy, the NVC Filer forum "rolls" every month. You usually join when you get your NOA2. At the end of March, Saylin starts the April thread, and deactivates the March one. Come on board!

Going through the DS-260 right now to prepare everything and I Have a question regarding all the addresses.

When I started the process I lived at my moms house in my hometown, so I used this address. I moved away for work but didn't change the address as this is for me still my home address and I'm going home at least twice a month. Also I'm moving back there prolly before the whole scenario is done.

But of course I do have a different address right now where I live. In Germany we call it "second-apartment" so I'm still registered in my hometown with my moms address as my priority address.

Do you think I should include the addresses where I live right now as well? I'm just not sure if it's confusing for them if my current address has a from date somewhere in 2012 and then my next two previous addresses are somewhere in 2013 and 2014 because I don't think Americans know they system of being registered in two cities, so having two addresses at the same time.

Thanks in advance guys!

Yes its a requirement to have the last 3 years filed. If he made the guidelines to file. If he didn't meet the guidelines then he has to explain in letter why he didn't have to file. Regardless if you have a co-sponsor or not he is your sponsor.

Tell him to call IRS or get an accountant and start on that so there's no long delay.

He says that his parents claimed him as a dependent for 2011 and 2012. So he would just have to explain that in a letter?

(His Mom is our co-sponsor btw so it should show on her taxes right?)

Hello!

I live in Brazil and I got approved Marchm 14th at USCIS. Next step is NVC.

My concerns are:

1 - As I am in Brazil and I will have to mail all original documents to the US, I would like to speed the process and be safe with my original documents. Can I OPT IN to Electronic Processing at NVC being in Brazil??

2- My husband and I got married in Brazil and lived here together until April, 2013, when he moved back there to work while waiting for my green card. He came back in February because the process is taking too long. Well, my second question is: He will be my sponsor in the Affidavit of Support, therefore he will fill out form I-864EZ. The problem is he did not have any income in the US in 2011 and 2012 because he was living with me in Brazil. He only had income in 2013, which is plenty to support me (over 20K) and it is over the poverty guideline. He does not have any paychecks for current year (2014) as he is back to Brazil to wait for the green card with me. He has the past 3 years income taxes OKAY, but only the last has income. Will there be any problem with that? Will only his support be enough for my application? Will the person interviewing me ask and require current job/income (2014)?

3 - Does NVC accept criminal records taken from the internet? Can I take the signed ones to the interview only?

Thank you so far for your help! I hope this process can go very quick!
