Once I received invoice emails I started checking CEAC every 20 mins.....

...its like water on a desert floor...after all the waiting to have things start to happen....

pls help us, is this a false checklist or not? plus we received an email too bout me doing DS-261 again which I already did finished last feb 18 but still haven't had an IV invoiced yet. should I do the DS-261 again?

Status update! Since my yellow triangle became visible for the IV fee this morning I've been checking all day for the invoice. About an hour and a half ago, I got an email naming me as the agent and instructing me to pay the IV fee. Just now the fee was invoiced, and now it's paid!

Hi, I have question to saylin and also other friends..

Do you guys see anyone in VJ before who filled tax return as Married filling jointly without putting ITIN number and just did as NRA.

I know ITIN number is required but my accountant told me that he did many tax return as MFJ with NRA ( no ITIN)

I do not have enough time to apply for ITIN and sign papers to my wife.

Also, If I do as MFS than I owe IRS to 28000$ and MFJ only 21,000$.

So I was thinking to take a risk at this point.

Any ideasssssssssss?

Is there any reason why I would not be getting an IV invoice before others who submitted their 261 after me? I have seen a few now that have gotten the IV invoice and their 261 date is after mine. Would that just be the nvc's incoherent method or perhaps I didnt do something correctly....

Quick question for those who have filled out DS-260 recently or have it available right now..

For previous addresses do the instructions mention to only list "places you have lived at least six months since 16"? The older DS-230 form does state this, but the screenshot and google doc version of DS-260 I've seen doesn't clearly state this.

I am trying to figure out if it's necessary to state the address of the place where my wife and I stayed for about 7 weeks after our wedding.

Good day!!.

We are on IV stage, my husband received an invoice and made a online payment last March 7, 2014 but until now the status is still "In Process" as of march 18, 2014. And we already sent the IV packet prior to DS-260 (because DS-260 is not yet available until this time).

How come it takes a long time to get in "Paid Status" and DS-260 to be available?

Both my fee weren't invoiced at the same time :/ i thought if you had a lawyer NVC would bypass the DS-261 and go ahead and invoice both fees. Yesterday when i went out to the lawyer's office, she filled out the DS-261. Im just curious because i want my iv invoiced ASAP! maybe she didn't fill out the G-28 during our USCIS stage? hmmm
