Has anyone had/seen an update when using the USCIS case status website as to when it has been shipped to the NVC? i.e.: do they tell you when it is shipped like when they tell you about a transfer or approval?

TSC sent me a notice when they physically shipped my case to NVC.

both my I130 and I129F were approved on 26 Feb and on 27 Feb they were both updated to say "transferred to NVC"

Saylin,

I talked to my accountant saturday and he advised me to do an extention and not file my 2013 taxes until later on. So, he will be putting in an extension for me April 1st.

can I you use my W2 for 2013 as proof of income instead of the tax transcript?

or should I get an employment verifcation letter as proof of income?

I also have tax transcripts from 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Thanks

4th month checking in.. Who

Would have thought the Nvc process would take longer than the uscis!! Responded to checklist first week of February and still haven't heard anything:/ in the US now, gotta leave by the last of April so I need an interview date before that! Don't want to leave my family without knowing when my interview is..

Is that four months since NVC received your case or four months since you filled AOS and IV?

My case status never updated online beyond "approved," all the information I got beyond that point was from calling. Technically my NOA2 was a transfer notice telling me my approved case was being sent to NVC, but obviously they didn't send it out the door that day, so I was never notified of when it was actually sent. I wasn't planning on following up with USCIS to ask about ship date unless NVC didn't receive my case within a couple of weeks.

So it seems some were updated some were not, nothing like a good set of USCIS operational standards!

I am under the impression that you don't need to email NVC to setup correspondence through email. According to my lawyer, we provided that information when filing the I-130 and that NVC should use that email information for its use as well.

Am I correct in this, or should I do as the NVC site indicates and setup email service by contacting them to go to myself and my lawyer?

Also, please add me to the spreadsheet if the chance comes up. Thanks!

Your impression is incorrect, you will need to contact the NVC to have your email addresses placed into the record for email correspondence.

Saylin,

I talked to my accountant saturday and he advised me to do an extention and not file my 2013 taxes until later on. So, he will be putting in an extension for me April 1st.

Use an employment verification letter or most recent pay stub. W2's need to be accompanied by copies of tax forms.

I think each service center operates differently. I don't think I've ever seen someone report CSC updating when their case was shipped, but NSC and TSC do. USCIS loves to keep things exciting! rolleyes.gif

I filled out the DS261 on Feb 11th - and was invoiced for I-864 on the 13th. I finally got the email that I was invoiced for the IV bill on Friday Feb 28th for the IV - It shows it in the system but it still wont let me pay it in the system. Very frustrating!

We are on the same boat. I got an email stating to.pay IV,but until noW,I cant pay. My husband tried calling nvc and told him to use internet explorer instead of chrome. We tried all kinds of browsers to no avail.

Yeah I check it in explorer - and tried chrome just in case. I wonder if it has to do with whatever reason the system was offline this weekend. Maybe updates? If its not available by the end of today I will try calling/emailing.

im about to send the IV documents and a member got me confused

we paid IV feb27, still in process, it will take 3 days receive it, so i think by that time our IV will show paid. but what confused me is that i have to include the confirmation page on the ds260? is that really needed? are those people here who sent in their IV doc before filling up ds260 had issues regarding that? for all is know the barcoded sheet is the most important and as per saylin, the confirmation is to be broguht on interview...

any inputs pls.

Not sure where you're getting your information, but no, the DS-260 confirmation page isn't needed. Please read posts 1 and 2, as well as NVC's website.

hi VJers smile.png and Saylin

first of all, sorry for your lost Ms. Saylin.

I just wanna asked since I saw this member posting something about the IV packet required documents. he said that a if applicable: a divorce decree should be included in it? so should we include my husband's ( the petitioner) divorce decree? I just thought IV packet is all about the beneficiary.

The IV package is about the beneficiary; only their documents are needed. The petitioner would have already sent their divorce certificates in the I-130 package.

Thanks!

As others have stated, if you want to receive correspondence from NVC by email, then you'll have to contact them and give over all email addresses.

What is I-864z

There is no 'I-864z'. Do you rather mean I-864EZ? If so, that's an alternative I-864 form that's much shorter (thus easier). You need to meet 3 criteria though to qualify to file it.

Also, is it worth calling them to find out if our case is complete if the CEAC still says "at nvc". Does anyone know if this information is the most up to date or would a phone rep perhaps be able to tell us if our case was complete before the CEAC does?

Cheers

Remember, the case isn't sent out until after the interview date is assigned, so the CEAC status will say "at NVC" even after case complete. So, if you want to know of case complete, best to call, as the email can take a week or longer to receive (if you get it at all).

How much nbc visa application fees?

NBC is a service center, which not everyone goes through. Are you perhaps referring to the IV fee? Have you not read posts 1 and 2 at all? All the questions you've asked can be found if you simply READ.

Thanks

W2s and tax transcripts were never used to show CURRENT income. Only pay stubs and/or an employment letter.

And if you send in your 2013 W2s, then you'll get a checklist for the tax return.
