Actually you became READY when you got interview. See what it says you are now ready for interview.

Some peoples petitions don't get their until days or day before the interview. Not to worry juts you be sure to be their on your day.

Did you by chance request a expedite after your NOA2. And no there is no Toll free number for NVC sorry. You have to call. Call when they just open (7am EDT or close to closing midnight EDT).

Thats why it says you went to embassy. You will have to deal with embassy now. Even though the message is wrong (they seem to not like to update their memos). If you got an expedite at NVC you will go to embassy. So contact them.

That is because NVC updated it. They let it go and update it when they choose. I really wouldn't worry about it. Ready is ready and to NVC you are ready. Just keep following DHL and when it gets signed for they enter into system when they get to it and then you can start contacting the embassy I would think like monday.

I better get this added to the 1st post.

Here is the ELIS sight where you will go create an account register your Visa # and pay the $165 for the processing of your Green Card.

Now to explain, YES you do get a stamp in passport at POE that also should verify you are now a LPR (Legal Permanent Resident) and you can go get a job, get drivers license all that.

Unfortunately many places in US are stupid and not educated on immigration things and immigrants and documents. Many places even employers I have read have been known to refuse employment for lack of a physical green card. Or refuse even a SS card because you have no green card. Like how dumb are they!!

Personally I would tell everyone to just pay the fee before you leave for the US and once you land and the CBP checks you in at the airport that kicks off production of your card. It should arrive in 3 to 8 weeks (usually like 3 t 5 weeks).

You will be given instructions when you pick up your Visa (or the embassy gives, not sure). You will be set to go.

My interview it's close and I'm getting out of my nerves I don't want to mess up missing any document. And I'm trying to make a master check list but I get more and more confused and nervous.

Is anyone having a check list like that?

Well first look over your P4 letter and see if they are asking you to bring anything. Aside form evidence ad such I would advise everyone with upcoming interviews to have 2013 taxes done and in the beneficiaries hands for interview.

Some embassies are already delaying approval of Visa waiting. So have 2013 in hands, if you just filled and no tax transcripts make sure you have all tax forms, W2 you know.

Copies of everything you sent to NVC is wise also but hopefully everyone made a copy before they sent off.

Now you wait for interview. they already started April scheduling 2/27. You should call NVC to see if they are complete with your embassy. I know for your country its a bit different because of the typhoon and all the expedites.

If you did miss April. May scheduling should start last week of this month.

Yes, will call by tomorrow if they ship our docs to USEm already. So, you think because of expedites it might cause backlogs? And by the way, how many days from case complete for NVC to email me the appointment letter? Thank you so much! I hope I get an April interview.
