hi im new to this forum and i would like to add to this. my location is in san jose ca

I Just receive interview appointment on July 1,2014 and receive a second notice of action indicating this is to advise you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel the previously scheduled interview on Tuesday July 1,2014 at 8:30am for the above applicant. we regret any inconvenience this may cause. we will advise you of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information, under separate notice.

ugh this is annoying i wonder what happening to my case or would it be something with my local office. im very worried.

can someone pls help if theres any of you with the same situation as me

thank you

they will send you a new appointment date, new letter and everything.. you just have to wait

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

I got a notification saying my interview has been scheduled and I should receive a letter within 30 days

New York is getting further and further behind in the process. In March the processing time frame was 5.9 months and they have just updated that the since April 30th it has gotten even further behind to 6.1 months. Maybe May's report will be 6.5 or 7 months! :blink::blink::blink:

... and how is that surprising, it's freaking NYC. All government processes move very slowly here. My i-751 took exactly 11 months. I expect this will finalize around Nov.

Funny thing happened with my son though. His permanent residency took 9 weeks total! That is from June 21 NOA to August 29th approval!

05/05/2009 - Received NOA2. Welcome letter for Permanent Residency. I-130 and I-485 approved 04/30/2009
05/08/2009 - Touched. I-485 approval letter sent
05/11/2009 - GC received in the mail. Expires 2019
05/11/2009 - Applied to remove restrictions on my SS Card
05/18/2009 - Received unrestricted SS card
10/13/2009 - My darling husband of 2 yrs 5 months 3 weeks 3 days passed away :(

Time frame mailed application april 1,2014 process application april 7

Finger print done april 30.

First letter interview may 27. Got that rejected due to unforeseen circumstances. Got my new interview letter today June 6 for July 8. So far it's only been 2 months . San jose keep it going
