There is no letter for in line. You'll get a text/email if you signed up for it after a few days - it was 2 days for me. Interview scheduling is slow in Chicago - I am already in line for 4 weeks.

I went to my scheduled biometrics appointment last Fri May 23 and was wondering when i will get my next letter from USCIS letting me know im in line for interview?

getting super anxious lol!

Hi guys, this is a question for people who are applying based on 3 year residence/,marriage- since the form asks for last 5 years of residence and travel history, did you really submit the addresses and travel dates of even prior to coming to US..(honestly cant remember the dates or exact addresses).. or did you just leave those extra boxes/sections- blank?

Its safer to list all addresses upto 5 years and w/e traveling you did during last 5 years.

Past Addresses - refer to form G-325 filed with your forms I-130 & I-485

Travelling - refer to your passport arrival/departure stamps.

it's been 20 days since I had my bio appointment and I haven't received anything from the USCIS saying in-line for interview or anything! should I be worried? I see most people get a text from the USCIS saying they are in-line for interview after a couple days :(

Check your case status online, maybe a system glitch didn't sent you the message.

3/12/2011 we sent aos package

3/14/2011 package delivered

4/15/11 received noa1 aos,aed & por

4/23/11 received Biometrics appt for 5/11

4/28/11 successful walk in Biometrics

5/13/11 EAD arrive

5/16/11 APPLY FOR SSN

5/18/11 GOT PRINTOUT OF SSN

5/19/11 GOT MY FL DL WIFE IS SUPER HAPPY SHE DOESNT HAVE TO DRIVE ANYMORE.

06/22/2011 INTERVIEW DATE JUNE 22

Many people, too many to be a coincidence, are placed in line exactly one month before their 3 or 5 year anniversary. Looking at your timeline, I'm guessing that your 3 year anniversary is in early July. Let's see if you get your "in line" update next week.

Give it a couple days.. Like I said, most people are not placed in-line until they are at least a month away from their 3/5 year anniversary, so that would be tomorrow for you. Plus Atlanta is averaging 6.5 months, so they are a little slower compared to other offices. You will be in-line soon, my bet is in the next 2 weeks :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

hmm so i guess I shouldn't expect to be inline anytime soon then huh, my anniversary date is july 27th hmm wow didn't know this, so what is it they wont call you for an interview and approve you unless 3 years passes huh... they say not so fast lol
