Called USCIS today and was told that they are currently working on November 1st 2013 cases. I told her, if that is so, why are November 21st + cases already approved. She said their circumstances might be different than yours. So I told her no, we all have the same circumstances. WE WANT OUR SPOUSES WITH US ALREADY! She said how it would take them 2-3 days to finish up November 1st 2013 cases. So I told her, if that is correct, then what I have to wait another 5 months for approval. She was quiet - then she said, well...it all depends on the amount of cases and how long they take to approve them. I want to jump into the phone line and strangle her for that comment. I swear they are extremely insensitive to our feelings. They need people who have been through this long tedious process to work there. They would feel our pain!!!!!!

Okay that's my ranting for tonight. I plan on calling back tomorrow and harassing them again. Lol.

You know just reading some comments, and I am going through the same thing, but why are you guys venting at the people that take the calls? do you realize they dont actually process the files? They just take the calls and answer the questions, create cases to get answers from the people who are actually processing the request. Tier 2 is probably some person sitting beside "tier 1". They arent anyone with any special powers.

Just something to keep in mind when you are talking to the reps on phone. They literally don't do any processing, and the people who actually work on files dont take calls.

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!
