I have a question for Philippines benificiary is it true that you can schedule an early medical exam at St. Lukes?

And what will happen if NVC will schedule his appoinment for medical? will I just ignore that?

1st, medical exams are not really "scheduled", it's a first come first served basis and you can do it in advance if you want even if you're not case complete yet.

2nd, NVC never schedules appointments for the medical exam.

yes you can have an early medical examination at SLEC as long as you know your MNL Case Number, you can register online and make sure to bring all the requirements. US Counter opens around 7am but be there earlier. I used to go there around 5am and I'm still not the first one to arrive. Good luck!

Michey8988, yep they send it directly to usem. :) but if your interview sched is like a week after the medical, it might be better to call st lukes and verify if they have already forwarded the results just to make sure usem has it before the interview.

Hi Michey. As others mentioned. Medical can be done without an interview appointment yet. As long as you have the NVC letter stating the MNL#, SLEC will allow you to proceed with the medical.

You might want to check on more tips at Hank's guide: http://visaconnection-philippines.com/#

and another one from Ann: http://philippinefiancevisa.weebly.com/medical.html

Just do take note that the date of the medical will dictate the visa validity, that is, "medical date + 6 months".

Good luck! :)

It's possible if you have the NVC letter with a MNL#. :) But as far as I know, the appointment of F2As and other family-based visas are scheduled by NVC.
