Also you realize its in Singapore That SGP. You have Philippine flag up so ope it wasn't a mistake.

You and the next post I will ask admin to redact your case#. Never ever display that.

So she can go ahead and schedule a interview with the us embassy in Singapore and they will send her and appointment letter telling her what documents to bring?

WoW! You got a notice from USEM! Just curious how long ago did you receive your NOA2, and MNL# ?

You will NOT receive a packet from the embassy, everything for the visa process is online.

Follow the flashing arrow below for details ~

Pop over the Philippines forum for better answers relating to the process in Manila. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Your fiancee is in Singapore, not the Philippines?

Never mind my earlier post then. I suggest going to the US embassy website for Singapore.

Your Philippines flag is confusing me and the other members.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

Contact the consulate where she will interview to ask if they have received the case and what the procedures are for her applying for the K-1 visa there > http://singapore.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas.html

Changing your flag to Singapore might be better for now. It will allow you to see the Singapore portal easily and others from Singapore can see your posts there in that portal too. People that have gone through Singapore would be the best ones to help you at this point.

Thanks I changed my Flag to Singapore. I have called the embassy but they will not verify if they have received the packet from NVC.

If your status has turned to "ready", they should have received it. It just takes a few days for packet 3 to be mailed out -- it'll contain the instructions for applying for the visa and you can get a preview here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/463628-singapore-k1s/

Follow the instructions and email the documents back to the embassy, and she will receive packet 4, i.e. her interview date, a few weeks after that. She does not schedule her own interview date.

In the meantime, she should complete her medical (she will have to wait for packet 3 before she can do this) and get the necessary police certificates (singapore and philippines at least), CENOMAR, etc.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!
