Hello VJ family,

Would you be kind to let me know how to contact my congress person/senator? Exactly a month ago we had an interview at US interest section in Havana. We provided all documents needed and interview went well, but we where told they will check on a few things and will call my fiance in two weeks but no phone calls yet. My fiance is an artist, never worked for the government and we both have clean records. If we do not hear from consulate in one month I'm planning on contacting the congress person/senator but I do not know how? I'm hoping they will call us before two months period, if not then I have to do all I can to make things moving.

What a pain we are all going through.......but we all know that nothing will stop the love we feel to each other even though we have to wait on decisions that another man has to make for us.

The way of peace is the way of love. Love is the greatest power on earth. It conquers all things!!!

Just go to their website -- most congress people/senators have a link for constituents who have immigration questions. You will fill out your contact info and someone from their office will send you an email with a link to a form that you need to fill out and fax back giving them permission to make inquiries on your behalf.

I had to contact my congresswoman for support during our K1 process (while waiting for NOA2, see my timeline for full story). Googled to find which congress person represented my district and went to her office in person with all my papers and a timeline of dates and occurrences to present my case. I received great support and they were able to help me.

Thank you for that information. I googled and found out which congress person represent my district and downloaded privacy authorization form from the website. I'm planning on stopping by the office and drop of the form and other documents tomorrow. I was hoping I will hear from the Interest section by now, but no news so far.
