You don't need to wait for your CENOMAR to be released. You can attend the CFO, if they ask for papers which you don't have they will not give you sticker but you'll have a certificate proof that you had attended the seminar, once you have the papers they asked you can go back and submit it then get your sticker.

Hi guys,

Thank you all for posting your personal experiences and more infos.

So is it okay if I just provide the photocopy of my CENOMAR and ITR together with photocopies of me, my fiance and my son, and some other documents they want? I just wanna clarify. If photocopies are fine to show them then I think I can do the CFO ASAP.

Yes _Hank I got all the infos from your flashing arrow and I saved it smile.png That flashing arrow help us through it too, Thanks A lot!

My wife only had a copy of the CENOMAR and they were fine with it for her. And for sure only a copy of the ITR

Okay Thanks everyone, I'll look for copies of the required documents.I'll also inquire if I can get my cenomar rush just incase they want orig's.

I don't wanna attend the seminar without all the papers cause I leave my son in the province with my mom'.So as long as I don't get the stamp I will have to be away from my son, and I don't like that cause he is not well.I just wanna go back to Manila, attend the seminar, get our stamps at the same time and go get my son in the province and go back home to Makati.

My bad, I was assuming you are living near Manila. Anyway I have a question regarding your son, is he going with you? What I mean is petitioned the same time as you? How old is he? If he is, try checking if he needs to attend the CFO too because there is also a separate seminar for children. Just thinking of this possibility

If he is a baby or a toddler no need to bring your son. And photocopies are fine. :)

I live in Makati Metro Manila, but my son is now in the Province at my mom's cause she is looking after my son.

Yes, he is going with me to US, and I believe he doesn't need to go with me cause he is just 2 :)as _Hank's link

Thanks :)

_Hank

Cool, The cenomar here in Makati is faster to get, I'll be getting mine on tuesday so it's not really as bad as 2-3 weeks time of waiting for it.It's also perfect cause I'm just waiting for my fiance's copy of BC and ITR.

Thanks for the info Hank.

I don't understand why for other cities/ towns take that much time to request for documents like CENOMAR, Birth Certificate and NBI Clearance..In my city if request was done in the morning you will get it after lunch, afternoon request will be released early morning the next day. How I wish all government offices work that way. This will be a win-win situation..sigh..wishful thinking..Bureaucracy....

it used to be very easy here in makati too, you get in the morning if you wanna get one doc.But this year has changed a lot.The main office, (quezon City) is 2 weeks lol. When I got my NBI it took me 3 days to get itm, such long lines terrible, most of their satellite wasn't working and the systems were down it was crazy.Hope they will go back to normal soon.

Yes this was a very enlightening thread -- good info!

We were going to do the CFO the day after the interview.

So, consequently fiancee would not get the sticker then

Once we collect the VISA -- how much time are you at CFO office to get sticker or is that another full day.?

Is CFO office near St Lukes or USEM?

Do you have to schedule CFO appointment? First come first serve?

Only on select days?

There is a map on the CFO website, it's not really close to either.

It only took my wife about 30 minutes to get her sticker, we stopped by in the afternoon.

No appointment for CFO, first come - first served. Monday - Friday. More info on their site

CFO info in my link

Hi hank Additional question,

Do I just have to go straight to CFO (citygold center) attend the seminar and will I get stamps on our passport right away on that day, or do I have to go to another place to attend the seminar, before going to citygold center to get the stamps?

I just asked cause I just read from one thread somewhere that it was what they did before..
