For all the people who have to send an Affidavit of Support Package!!!

Hi guys, I would like to share with all of this thing that I just found.

Today I received an e mail from NVC who said this:

"We received the Affidavit of Support Processing Fee payment(s) for this

case. You must now download and complete the Affidavit of Support
form(s). You can submit 2013 if you have filed your taxes for that
year. Please visit the following website to download the appropriate
Affidavit of Support form(s) and instructions:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html"

So I would say that, there is no need to wait until 14 April 2014, if the taxes have been paid about 2013 year!!!

For me it was really important to know!

NVC never lets you wait until April 14th. About March 1st they will checklist people for new income tax returns. And the embassy will definitely want it if interview falls after April 14th.

I wrote this because when I asked if I can send 2013 tax return, some people tell me will be necessary to send 2012 tax before 14 april, because it would haven't accepted from NVC.

Honestly the trick is to get your AOS package in before the guidelines go up (for some that is an issue if they don't meet now). Ad that usually happens about first week on March so that's when NVC starts requiring new tax year submitted.
