Seems mostly Filipinos K1 fiancees have gotten NOA2 for Dec/13 filers

With the hurricane devastation Philippine had experienced last year,

it appears USCIS is expediting Filipino visa processing.

I am totally happy for them...

It's just that in the meanwhile...I'm still waiting for NOA2

after receiving NOA1 on Dec/19.

Any non Filipino December filers being processed at TSC get NOA2 yet?

Me and my wife have come through the K-1 visa, and she is from thee Phils., but there was no expidating of visas. We wwaited 186 days for NOA 2, and still was 3 and 1/2 months until her P.O.E. due to NVC, medical, CFO, etc.

I am not sure what your expectations are, but it would seem to me you are somewhat upset at waiting, Dec. 2013 and now we are 2 months or less, and some from Autum 2013 are still waiting..,.., not sure what your complaint is, to me, God's speed to you, but to me it is just not your turn.

I hope it happens tomorrow, but with what little I know, your time has quite a distance to travel.

My USC fiance and I (Aussie) filed in December and on January 23 we got our NOA2, 42 days after our NOA1. I was so happy and appreciative. We filed from here in Sydney, as he is a resident here, although the postal times take a lot longer, as you can imagine, due to the distance. We sent 3.5kg of evidence in our petition and had no RFE. Now I wait for word from NVC (I suspect we'll be stalled here) or from the US embassy in Sydney. The whole process has given me nothing but anxiety. Good luck, I'm sure you'll receive your NOA2 very soon.

I do hope your NOA2 comes soon, but I have to disagree with your observation -- I'm sure some Filipinos filed for expedite because they lived in the affected areas, and that made their applications just fly through everything, but the average Filipino application took 35 days to reach NOA2 for the December Filers (including the expedited apps). The average for all nationalities is about 37 days.

I think it's just because there's a lot more Filipinos applying for K1 in general, that it's looking like we're getting special treatment. About half of the Filipino applicants still don't have their NOA2 either.

FYI too, Mine took 42 days to process with no RFE, which pretty much aligned with VJ estimates for CSC. It's still a bumpy ride up ahead because I haven't heard from NVC yet.

I think you took my comments out of context.

I wasn't suggesting that Filipino processing was always expedited.

I was specifically pointing out time frame after the hurricane,

where Filipino applications seem to be expedited.

Not really. You were lamenting about the December 13 filers, so I limited the time frame to that.

42 days would sit about right for CSC filers and fit in the estimates that VJ provided. As I said, the average for all nationals was 37 days.

My application was not expedited at all. Only those that lived near the affected areas (which is far from Manila), or those who specifically sent requests were expedited. You can clearly see which ones were processed quickly, because it would have been 10-20 days between NOA1 and NOA2.
