I do not know if it will come up in the Medical, but I would make sure you have documentation concerning your issues and treatment from your Health Care team, just in case.

If an expedite is not approved then you carry on as before, there is some speculation it adds a small delay.

You are worrying about the maybes now. The request has been made, there is no undoing it. If it is approved you will have to deal with what may or may not come. If it is denied your process will continue as normal. It would help to know exactly what was stated in the request.

Hello guys!! So my fiance called today the USCIS and asked if there is any way to speed up the process and the woman told him that she will send a request of expedite to speed the process and will send us an email to tell us yes or no. He said im losing my hair and i have panic attacks cause of my stress.

Is anyone that knows anything about this? Is this going to get my process denied or have problem on my medical exams with the embassy doctor?

Nope. Your case will progress like all the others.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

This may be the first thread I have seen where someone does not want an expedite approved.

For reasons that seem unclear.

You having nothing to worry about as far as the medical goes. They are only looking for infectious, contagious diseases. They really don't care about your mental state or stress level. Also I am sure the expedited request will be denied. Then you will just proceed like everyone else.

my thoughts to you is to take a deep breath and try to relax. Maybe spend some time on VJ reaching the next steps and the forms you need. Make a check list and take notes so you don't forget anything. This site has really help me stay focus and not forget anything important. Most of all just think about being with the one you love and how you will look back at all this one day and laugh.

I don't think request for expedite will delay your case. If its approved, you will need to go to the medical exam (it's nothing to worry about by the way) and go to the interview.

Just read more on the forums about medical exam in your country and interview to get yourself acquainted with how its done in your country (every country is a little bit different).

On a medical test they will ask you if you had or have this or that and I don't think depression or panic attacks would prevent you from getting a visa, but you might need to show a proof of treating it.

On an interview that should not be a problem as well. But, if you get all nervous how you are going to pass the interview and go to the Embassy with panic attacks? Put your health on a first place and get some treatment if you are suffering.

Personally I see from your posts that you are very anxious. Your process goes very fast comparing to others. Request for expedite won't significantly affect the timing of processing, if its denied. So the application will be processed as it normally would.

Now for your panic attacks and anxiety and hair loss. If you have them, go get some help - from a doctor or psychotherapist because immigration road is not an easy one and you will need all the strength and calm nerves to get through it.

For now, what you could do to get some relief is to walk on fresh air more, maybe forests, nature, sea whichever makes you calm, eat good food - vegetables, fruits and meat, don't drink coffee, strong tea or pepsi and its analogs as they contain caffeine and you get agitated more easily. Get to do some exercises, whichever you come more comfortable with, especially I would recommend yoga. For calming your nerves, do meditation at least 3 times a day for 15 min.

Take care of yourself and your stress, as if you won't be healthy there's no way you could get through immigration. The K-1 visa is pretty straightforward from other ones and there's not much unpredictabilities. Get yourself acquainted with the posts on forums of your country and medical and interview processes, this way you'll see and know there's not much to worry about.

Good luck on your journey to recovery and immigration to live with your loved one!

You need to try and relax. This process is long but worrying about what may happen is not worth it. If you don't want to speed the process up then don't. Having anxiety is not a large medical concern. However, you should consult a doctor to see what can help reduce the attacks or overall anxiety.

If you are this anxious you will have a hard time in the future too, once you receive your K1 you are not done with immigration for many years afterwards.

You sound like you need to be talking to your Doctor, not posting on a web site.

It does sound like you have a number of complicated issues that need to be addressed.

You need professional help.

I don't think her case even comes close to this level. Worry and anxiety are not mental illness or psychosis. And were the hell is she talking about alcohol and drugs? Your just scaring this poor girl and making it worse for her.
