So help us understand what you mean...if I got that message and did send an I129f, does it mean it'll take more time than if I didn't to get the approval? Cause I did send it, and got the message about 1 month ago and 10 days.

dehiguey23, if you filled out your timeline, which is found in your profile, it would be easier to answer your questions. having a timeline allows people to see exactly which route your taking and ensures they answer your question accurately.

i don't believe don123 is going the same route as you.

to answer your question, if i get the gist of your question...you're going the ir1/cr1 route with the k3 option??? if so, the 1st one approved overrides the other. in your case it looks like they've acknowledged the 129f but are still doing background checks. its just a matter or time now.

I know it's a matter of time, but background check takes that long? Especially someone like me that has a perfectly clean record. Oh well, let time go by I guess...

Husband Wife , some ppl get that message before their NOA2, so you should expect your approval any day now, inshAllah :)

AlexandCarlos, I don't think that's a reason for expedite, I mean he has lived there before. They only approve expedites in EXTREME emergent situations, for instance, ours got expedited because there was a horrible flood last month which damaged my husbands house.

How's everyone else doing? Where are you all the process? We just received our case number tonight :)

In most cases when you send I29F USCIS attach I-130 & I-129F together then your status appear as your A# has changed. That's why I asked whether he/she send a I129F recntly, and if not most of the cases have got approve after the A# change.

for your question the answer is don't worry it won't take more time.

in my case my A# got change in April since that no update, as I told you early they change my A# because my wife sent I129F
