It takes them an average of 72 days versus the normal 30 days that others consulates average to go from nvc sent to interview date, why is England one of the slowest.

Not totally accurate.

Actually there is probably a good deal less immigration from the UK to the US than from elsewhere (Asia and Africa, for example). What they're busy doing is processing work and student visas, which 99% of attendees to the Embassy are there to get.

So here's some consulate comparisons. London is not that far out of line. http://www.visajourney.com/content/consulate-k1-historical

This from someone who got their NOA2 in 6 weeks!

It takes as long as it takes. As the figures that Nick-Nich states, London are rather busy. Your timeline shows that you have added to that wait in London by not responding to stuff that quickly. I'm not sure why you are complaining about London when it took you almost 3 weeks to send in your packet 3.

That's kind of my rant over. After going through this all last year and taking 9 months to get out NOA2, I get a little pee'd off by seeing other people post 'I got my NOA1 2 months ago. Why haven't I got my NOA2 when I see other people getting it who applied after me'.

rolleyes.gif I wasn't speaking of immigrant visas per se, or categories of visas, just that there is a lot of movement between the UK and the US and vice versa. A lot of those non-immigrant visa people end up as long term residents of the US.
