Thank you Abby! I have been diligently reading as many of these posts as I can lol and I saw something about the TSC having issues? That is where we sent ours. Can anyone explain further what is happening there? Thanks in advance.

TSC recently started processing I-129f petitions and are receiving petitions that would have originally been sent to Vermont. They are much larger than CSC and right now there is a major backlog. I believe they are processing petitions from around the Oct/Nov 2013 range. I think it is just because of the sheer volume of petitions they receive. It seems it is taking anyway from 4-7 months for NOA2 at TSC :( You should check out some of the other TSC filer threads to get a better feel for where they are at. I don't know a whole lot about it because I was at CSC. There is also a Feb TSC filers thread.

Still no word on our case either.. very frustrating. I wanted to fly back to MD for a visit with my fiance, family, and my dogs, however, with no updates on our petition we don't want to risk using up my vacation or waste money when we will have to pay for the trip to the embassy and travel expenses for when we are approved. Roar.

I believe they are processing petitions from around the Oct/Nov 2013 range. It seems it is taking anyway from 4-7 months for NOA2 at TSC :(

This is absolutely insane to me. I remember being thankful that our petition was sent to the CSC. I don't think CSC was pumping them out nearly as fast as they seem to be now though. If you look through old timelines, it looks like this time last year, CSC was the slower of the 2 options. Taking 8+ months! When we first filed, we sorta hoped to be able for them to move here by November. Now, it's feasible that they can move here by end of JUNE!

Johan's is next Wednesday. We're still waiting on his paperwork from South Africa. Things are almost happening too fast (I know some are silently cursing me. <_< )

Just got back from my visa medical exam in London! Really painless (almost!). I turned up about an hour before - just a note if you have yours booked, there's no obvious sign for the medical practice (Knightsbridge), but there's a buzzer to the right hand side which you press to get in. Also, I got there way before I needed to, only to find that mobiles aren't allowed to be on in the waiting room - so make sure you take something to read if you want to be organised! The first thing I did is a medical questionnaire (in addition to the one I did prior to arrival), and then they took my docs off me to process them; in the meantime I got called for a quick interview about my vaccinations - and I chose to have my MMR booster done there as it was out of date. I then had the main exam where they check all the important things like blood pressure, heart, lungs, eyesight, ears, etc. The blood test was just as normal, only one and takes a few seconds. Another set of questions about my medical history etc and then I went back to the waiting room for my X-Ray - probably waited 20 seconds at most and then I had that. You get a brief glimpse of your results on the screen behind the technician - but he won't discuss the X-Ray results with you. I was nervous (just because of health anxiety, etc), but I Googled a normal XRay and mine was just identical to that. I was told that the results would be with the embassy by Monday, and that if I don't receive a phone call between now and Friday afternoon, everything's OK. No news is good news!

I wonder how quick London will be about assigning an interview date after getting medical results? I have already told them that I'm ready for my interview, but of course they won't schedule one until next Monday at the earliest... hm!

At the beginning, we were expecting this to take anywhere from 6-12 months from start to finish, and now here we are at 3 months into it and scheduling our interview. It is amazing and I dont take it for granted for 1 second. We still have quite a bit to go through in the upcoming months, but it will all be so much easier when we are together. We probably wont do POE until late July so we can have the October wedding that Im obsessed with LOL

TSC filers, you are in my thoughts and prayers! I wish the service centers had elected officials and we could just vote them out when things like this happen! It is truly unfair.but it will all be over VERY soon!

I know that feeling! Coming out of NOA2 and every week there's another huge update to the whole thing.

I just wanted to update everyone. As I posted yesterday my case is at CSC with an NOA1 of Feb 11th and I am still waiting. I called yesterday to check to status and was told that my case had been approved an sent to NVC. They told me I would need to call NVC for more information. I was so excited. After being on hold for 30 minutes I was told that my case was not at NVC I would need to call the customer service line again... well they had closed for the night. I called this morning when they opened, after being passed around a few times I was told that my case is still at CSC, has not been approved and looks complete but they need more time. I asked for a reason why it has not been approved and the only response I got was that they needed more time. It was an emotional rollercoaster and now I am back to waiting. I was really looking forward to having him here and now I am so disappointed and hurt by that whole thing. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers we really need them right now

Met at Walt Disney World when we were interns 6/2/2013

Started dating 7/8/2013

Got engaged 8/7/2013

He came to visit 12/17/2013

That would be a tough spot to be in. :( I'm sorry it's taking so long! :(

It is.. but I suppose it would be more depressing if it was still winter and -45 outside. Trying to stay positive and take advantage of all things Canadian and my Canadian health care while I can, haha.

I'm so sorry to hear that! They really have no idea what they are doing and what emotional damage it causes. Maybe we should just all apply to work for immigration once approved - since we all know what it's like to be on the other side!

Can I ask what number you called? Also what did you say?

I called the 800 number on the site, and got the automation, after I entered everything, pressed 3 and spoke to a lady there. She did give me the estimate of when to get it, July 11 (5 months). I HATE this wait... Whats more is I HATE seeing that people who filed WAY after me are getting them in 10 days in some instances.... Its just not fair. They claim they process them as they come in well that's a lie.... Considering many people from March, and April are getting theirs while I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs.

I rarely come here because it's so discouraging to see this.

Indeed. I cannot believe people at the CSC are getting them in less than 2 weeks! #######?!?! Work on getting the ones from months ago that you still have not processed. Unfair and uncool. :ranting: I don't begrudge the people who're getting theirs so quickly... it's not their fault, but the process is still bogus, whether we're talking TSC or CSC.

I know I had some jealousy and annoyance over filers in FEB who got their NOA2's before me. I sent mine on the first, so in my mind, I should have been one of the first ones with an approval. I learned quickly that it wasn't going the way I thought it should. Which bit. :( I feel your pain, if only slightly. Keep us posted, please. :) Abby's correct; we might be uber efficient and just approve everyone because we've been there, done that.
