Oh girl, I WISH Ireland's embassy used a medical facility that cheap. For Johan, it's 395 Euros, which is just under $550! His son's is going to be 260 Euro, which is $360. I can't believe there's such a huge discrepancy between countries!

Aww :( I feel like I am going to receive one too just because it's coming up on three months. Can you fax all of the information for your RFE back to USCIS or do you have to mail it?

Quick timeline update, if it helps anyone (sorry if it aggrieves the rest!):

NOA2 = 02 Apr

Case with Consulate = 16 Apr

Readiness completed = 24 Apr

Interview letter received = 03 May (letter dated 24 Apr, so sent the same day as readiness?!)

Pity then that the interview letter doesn't actually give an interview date - just a typo I believe so will call the Consulate on Monday.

Medical is booked for Tuesday.

I surprised her with a proposal in Los Angeles, and this is how it went down!

Weird!! I hope they did schedule one for you! I saw someone at one point say they were issued a date as soon as they filled in their readiness--that the embassy just takes your medical date into account and schedules accordingly. But others have said that isn't the case, and that the letters aren't issued until results are received. Wouldn't the former be great though?! Let us know if you do indeed have a set date! :)

2/3/14 I-129F Mailed

6/16/14 Embassy Interview--Approved!!!!

7/11/14 Marriage :)

7/25/14 AOS + Work Authorization Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

7/31/14 NOA1--Electronic Notification

8/26/14 Biometrics Appointment--Indianapolis

9/18/14 EAD approved--Electronic Notification

2/15/15 Notice of Interview Waiver (and Case Delay due to heavy processing load)

5/5/15 RFE (Requested another certified copy of marriage license)

5/14/15 Submitted Materials for RFE

5/28/15 Greencard Approved/In Production!!!!!

My love is selfish. I cannot breathe without you. - Keats

Is the NVC someone we can call for updated info after our petitions leave it for our respective embassies? If so, sweet. Bonus. :)

Also, I too love your Keats quote.
