Hi everyone, I hope your waiting goes well! :)

Have any of you travelled to the US after getting NOA1? Did you have any problems with the entrance to the US? I'm planning to go next month and I wanted to ask you if it's safe!

Thanks!

Ive visited twice since noa1. I brought our petition with me, a letter from work and a copy of thr school year calendar to prove I was on break for one week.

The border guard did not ask anything different from any other time I have visited.

Where are you going?

What is your citizenship?

How long will you be in the U.S.?

What do you do for work?

How did you meet?

What does your fiance do?

Are you bringing anything into the country?

I only stayed for a week both times. I found thr best policy is to answer honestly, but dont volunteer anything they dont specifically ask about. The k1 never came up in eiher of my crossings and I did not make a point of mentioning it.

September 16, 2014: RFE for further evidence of Joint Sponsor's current income

For those still waiting for NOA2, I've noticed that most people got their notifications later at night (in EST). Mine came after 11pm EST.

I've been thinking of you and hoping you all get the happy news SO SOON.

I know how you feel! Especially when there is false hope with the timeline estimates because they keep going back and forth. Just need to keep positive; Our's will come soon!

Tell me about it!! What would be helpful is if USCIS actually processed things in the order they came in!!! I just checked the "last 15 approved K1 filers at California"... luckily most of them were from February, but there were a few from March. Why are they working on March when there are people from last year waiting? It makes me so sad to think about those people, and it's so terrifying knowing it could happen to any of us for no reason. I really do not have anything good to say about USCIS or this process right now.. But I am forcing myself to be positive so let's hope it works. This week-long headache and increasing anxiety has got to go!

Our case is in transit, too! We have the same message ('Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.'). I thought they wouldn't schedule an interview until we send Packet 3 back? I'm a little confused.
