This is probably dumb to ask... but on some of the questions have multiple answers. Do we learn one or all of the possible answers?

76. What did the Emancipation Proclamation do?

Answer:

- freed the slaves; - freed slaves in the Confederacy; - freed slaves in the Confederate states; - freed slaves in most Southern states

There are no dumb questions, all question help you and all future immigrants as well as it did with us. Some questions can be answered by one response as the one you wrote. Some will mention how many answers you have to give as the question that says give 3 states out of the 13 original states. So it depends some will require one answer, some will ask you to give more then one answer. Good luck.

you need to know more than one on the ones that ask for it

for example, name 3 holidays

Answer:

- freed the slaves; - freed slaves in the Confederacy; - freed slaves in the Confederate states; - freed slaves in most Southern states

This was an executive order (meaning not a law passed by congress) that freed slaves in the confederate states, so the third answer above. It did not free slaves in every state.

And there is no dumb question. I admire your effort to become a citizen. Best of luck!
