I did a service request for my I-129F. and this is the response I got:

"The status of this service request is: Recently, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Service records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

Basically: nothing!!!! No help at all!!!!!!!!

Your case is within USCIS process times. They go by the I-130 file date; not I-129f. Currently if you filed before March 20, 2013 your outside process time.

Some VJ members believe that the I-129f after an I-130 actually slows down the approval as the K-3 is basically obsolete. Data is still being gathered on this. The theory is USCIS won't process the I-129f but they still have to attach it to the I-130 which slows down the case.
