I called the NVC today and they told me our interview has been scheduled for April 3rd in Santo Domingo. Keeping fingers crossed for a quick approval.

If yourhave your case number e-mail the consulate in santo domingo they are going to answer you in 2 bussines days, and tgey can give you your interview date if they have asigned.

Yes, you can cal the NVC and use Option 3, then give them your case number.

The consulate has not updated their list since November 21, 2013.

Department of State transferred the immigrant visa information to the NVC beginning this last week. So if you call DOS, they will now refer you to NVC, But this time they will actually help you.
