I checked the ceac sttus it says in iv fee invoice while aos not yet invoice?i though aos should be the first to be invoice?is this an error ?

Hi Saylin,

I found one more error on the ds260. I clearly told my document guy that i will be moving back to Illinois when my wife is here, so in about 3 months but he use my Illinois address as a permanent and current address on the ds260 but i am still living in california. do you think i will need to call NVC? i am going to starting applying for jobs in illinois and then move back once i land a job.

I just signed in ceac a few minutes ago with no error.

I don't think this is related to your problem, but it said Application Error when I tried to start filling DS260.

I am thinking that my problem is web browser (Safari and Chrome).

But it's weird that petitioner cannot access the page at all.

saylin's advice to use IE browser. i got the same error when i login. says application Error. but yesterday i was able to login. i was thinking they are just starting to invoice the ASOS bill?

I don't think its because of the browser. its an error from them. i tried to login on CEAC payment portal the check box is still disable. so i guess the reason why we can't view the case status is because the are working on invoicing the AOS bill. or they are generating the applicable form.

Saylin, our file was received by NVC on 11th Feb. Will you update us on spreadsheet, i tried but couldn't do it, maybe I'm not supposed to. Just a question, does the PCC have to be still inside the validity date for POE or just until interview date?

yea hopefully it will work soon. i tried to use random case number and got the same error. let's wait for saylin gonna say about this error. but i guess its just normal error whenever they are doing something on our case.

I received a checklist from NVC today stating that they need Police Certificate for my wife. However, their own instruction clear states that she would be exempt because she falls under the fourth category (non-indian applying outside of India).

Any idea on how to proceed?

______10 - PASSPORT POLICE CERTIFICATE:____________________________

Indian Police Clearance Certificates should be obtained as follows:

• All Indian IV applicants aged 16 and above, residing in India, should obtain police certificates from the local Passport Office.

• Indian passport holders applying for visas outside India should obtain a statement from their local embassy or consulate confirming they have no criminal record.

• Non-Indian IV applicants residing in India should obtain police certificates from the District Police Station serving their area of residence.

• Indian police certificates are not available for foreign (non-Indian) applicants applying outside India

SEEMS TO ME LIKE ONCE U REQUEST EXPEDITE, NVC SEND U A CHECK LIST EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO NEED FOR IT, IT'S LIKE THEY WANT TO SPITE US BECAUSE WE SEND IN A REQUEST FOR EXPEDITE. SO FAR I HAVE NOTICED THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO DOES THIS GET IT. NVC IS LIKE: " THIS PERSON REQUESTING EXPEDITE, THEY WANNA HURRY US UP, OK WE GONNA SLOW THEM DOWN WITH SOME FORM OF SOMETHING."

I believe customer service is closed today because I did receive an email of a checklist today. Guessing somebody else made it to work today.

We received a check list in our email on February 5 and also a letter in the mail as well on that same day and that day they never opened, i am beginning to wonder..may be they work even when the place is closed. Or once u request expedite they just send u a check list even when none is necessary just for the spite of it, for trying to hurry them, whether its a holiday yes or no.

What is the easiest way to get the tax transcript immediately with going to irs? Cause when u call its 10 days delivery.anyone here try to get tax transcript requested immediately?
