I have a tan Honda Civic - not a bad looking or driving car! (I still miss my Nissan Centra though - that was my second car in my life.) Went to get a used car but wanted it with the warranty and stuff, so they've had me at the dealership - big time. It's 2002 but still cost me a pretty penny - that's what I get for not knowing a good mechanic and not having a man around!

Oh well!

NOURA and SAID:Congratulations!

JEAN: your Mohammed will be here soon, inshallah! Yey!

JANINE: I'm used to Moroccans speaking their language around me - i don't mind it at all. But if you need somebody to speak broken English (well, i wasn't born here) - i'm your girl   . I'd love to listen to people speak Moroccan!

Take care everybody

Tanya

All this talk of cars is making me nostalgic...I used to have a car back in the days...Green Jeep Grand Cherokee...I bought it so used and abused but oh how much I loved it...The affair was not meant to last...it gave up on me after year and a half of great service...Well I will always have the memories.....:whistle:

It's all about the '87 Honda Civic hatchback baby!

That was my first car. When I was on the golf team in high school we would pile in 5 girls with 5 golf bags to go across the street to the golf course. Good times.

I've been watching CNN for the last hour regarding Hussein's execution. I never watch CNN unless there's some major world thing going on, and I actually turned it on to watch Larry King's show on a whim, but the show was interrupted with Hussein's stuff.

hmmmm.......

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

So you watching Anderson Cooper now? Somehow I got sucked into it too.

Moody: You hear any noise over there? There is dancing and celebrating going in Detroit. They are showing a large group on the news now.

Yup, watching Anderson Cooper.

Was interesting to see the crowds and hear the imam talk in Dearborn.
