Delay due to retake of finger prints

Anyone have an idea of the delay caused by USCIS not being able to take finger prints correctly the first time? Not even close to time to hear something from them, but I sure would like to know when to start looking.

Yes, I have heard of this happening. It is my understanding that the applicant gets "2 tries" at the fingerprint process. The person taking the fingerprints should be able to tell the applicant whether or not the prints are acceptable or not. The guy that took my wife's prints told her the prints were ok.

it is really sucky - when yer at the ACS appointment,

the person actually doing the work not mention good or bad, usually.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
