Service Request at TSC what to expect?

Hello people,

I was reading here and on the search button a little already about service requests,....

My question is to people who already asked for one and how long they waited for response? What was the response (A NOA2? A letter that said please wait another 30 days?......)

They told us to wait 15 days or less until we hear of them again... But I was reading that other couples wait from 30-40 days or even 45 days for a response of a service request..... Oo

I hope for people who had experience with this before they got their NOA2.

We filed several service requests and were told every single time to wait longer (30 days every time) and in the end we were told to wait for the priority date to pass... so you can definitely file a service request but don't get your hopes up. My hubby even went to our local USCIS office every other week but it didn't help much... You just have to be patient!

The thing is we were getting the receipt date of august 12th, 2013! And on january 23th we called them and they told us that they actually work on AUGUST 16th, 2013 petitions!!! So they passed our date!! And by the way, it is weird on igor's list to see all these people getting approved from november and december 2013 and on the phone they tell you that they actually work on august 16,2013 petitions.......???? I feel like something is wrong......!!
