hi

you download it, fill it out on the computer, print it and sign it, the signature has to be original signature in black ink

you can download it now from the uscis website and then wait once you send in the payment and they give you the cover letter with the bar code

the form is the same

if you have a joint sponsor, then yes, you will fill out an i864 as sponsor and the other person will fill out another i864 as joint sponsor and provide his or her documents and paperwork

One of you, the primary sponsor, fills out the I-864, and the other fills out an I-864A.

ok, but both of us files together on taxes and our taxes records have both of our names on the same paper. some i will need to fill out the I-864 for him and the I-864A for me eventhough our taxes are together. And if we need another sponsor they will need to fill out I-864A. I am going to get one more just in case I weather have to many and not enough.

I am not really following you. The I-864A is used only for qualifying household member's of a sponsor. An I-864 would be filled out by the petitioner/primary sponsor. If that is your husband, then he fills out an I-864 and then you, as his qualifying household member would fill out an I-864A to have your income combined with his on his I-864. You will provide your most recent joint tax transcript. If the 2 of you together do not meet the income requirement, then you can get a joint sponsor. The joint sponsor would fill out their own separate I-864.

My father will be my joint sponsor but he and my mother files joint tax. I will not use my mother's income. So i assume my mother does not need complete i864a. Am i correct? Me and my father will both file i864.

Yes, if he does not need the mom's income to meet the requirement, then she does not have to fill out an I-864A. Have the dad provide a copy of his W-2 along with the joint tax transcript to show his individual income.

Do I have to mail the I-864 in or can I send it through e-mail to the NVC

I just recently took over for my cousin's paperwork shuffling. But he switched from paper to electronic and then asked everything be submitted via electronic pdf. But that's only after you pay the fee and they give you a new case number to file electronically. Since it was china, the paper case number started with GUZ and the electronic case number switched to GZO. At least that's what I am piecing together. He doesn't know ####### and the old man who filled out his work may have done it without even knowing he did it. As it didn't make sense to me why a new case number was issued in the middle of processing. The NVC website sucks as far as explaining.

So if you are doing it by mail then do it by mail. If you are doing it electronically then do it electronically or else you will get delays. Best thing is probably not to send anything in until you figure out if you want to go paper or paperless, and if paperless, how the whole process works and what you need before diving in. Or else you will spend time sorting it out like me speaking to multiple parties who don't know what the heck they did.
