Mistake on G325

I applied for K3 visa and received the approval notice from Vermont. My spouse is currently waiting on the interview letter from the embassy. I noticed yesterday while going through the papers that I put the wrong place of birth for her on the form (probably because I filled one out for me first and then erased the information on the CIS website and filled hers out and not all the info. was erased). Anyways, she was born in Qatar; which is listed on I-130, G325A for I-130 and I129F. Only the G325A that went with her I-129F had it listed as Pakistan. CIS approved the petition without any questions at all in 2 months.

I don't want to call the state department and open a can of problems. My friend whose wife had her K3 couple years back don't think this will be a problem since my wife has correct birth certificate and passport information is also correct. Also, he mentioned that my wife should not mention this unless the interviewing person picks up on it. I have asked her to get a notarized letter from her mother stating her place of birth and name of parents to be on the safe side. Is there anything else I can do; since this was just an honest mistake. Here is my timeline:

9-14-06 - I-130 sent

9-29-06 - I-129F sent with the I-797 of I-130.

10-18-06 - I-130 approved. (just sent the DS230 part 1 yesterday to NVC; last step for it)

12-13-06 - I-129F approved by CIS. Sent over to the consulate.

We discovered two errors on our G325 shortly before our interview. I was very concerned as one of them made no sense (ie, it made it seem like my husband lived in two countries at the same time due to an error on the dates). Anyway, I brought it to the attention of the person who checked us in at the embassy and went through our stuff before being interviewed by the Consular. They just pulled out a red pen and made the change right on the form. You can bring any mistake to their attention BEFORE it is brought to your attention by them. I would not follow advice to just "ignore it" as you made an honest mistake.

Yes, except the only thing that worries me is that being a US embassy in Pakistan where they just look for anything to make a big issue out of. But if they go over the whole application with her; I also think she should just let them know that its actually Qatar and not Pakistan.

Only backup in case God forbid something bad happens is that I have already submitted all the paperwork for I-130, DS-156, I-864 etc. and only thing left is the review by NVC before it is sent to embassy and everything is in order there. So I am expecting that to be processed by ed of January as well.
