For those of you who have gathered evidence for the visa interview, have you shown the consulate evidence regarding calling card purchases? I mean does this evidence have any relevance since I could buy these calling cards and use it to call other people? Has anyone used this form of evidence or does it makes sense to do it? I have plenty of other evidence but the more the better is what I go by.

Do you have proof that it was used to call you spouse? If not I doubt it would be useful. Just my two cents.

There's no way to identify if the calls were made to my spouse from calling cards. Usually on calling cards there is a 1-800 number that you dial and then the number. I mean if they see a bunch of purchases almost every weekend wouldn't they think its to that one person? I guess we have to put ourselves in their shoes in terms of looking at evidence objectively.

i alyz use pre-paid phone cards to call my wife but i knew it's gonna be realli hard to prove so that i let my wife to make long distance phone calls in order to get records. it surely depends on prices

I am in the same predicament. If you have the cards, try and call the customer support deparment and ask them if you could get a print out of the nubers dialed on your pin number. This only works if you have teh pin number of the cards.

I have found this site www.pincity.com, they give a monthly summary of all call in your account.

I hope this doesn't sound like a plug, but www.tel3.com has a wonderful calling card program for international calls. You can check it out for yourself and PM me if you want me to email you an invite. I get $5 towards my account if I get friends and family to sign up. Every little bit helps!

But you can just sign up on your own and they give a VERY detailed and printable call log. What number you called from, what number you called, number of minutes, price per minute, total call price, beginning balance and ending balance. The rates are great too. You don't have to worry about running out of minutes either. You use your credit card and can set it to auto recharge which it will do once you're down to $3 USD. They give you transaction history and everything.

I've been using it since July.
