I just flew out of Manila a couple days ago. After you check your bags, go through the glass doors and the first line you get to is for the Terminal fee. 550 php or 12.25 usd. They also take credit cards.

I never paid any kind of travel tax. Maybe it was included in the airfare, or I'm a ninja.

Travel tax is for exiting Filipinos, or foreigners who are in country a year or more. Your fiancee will have to pay this fee when leaving, 1620 Php

When my husband purchased my ticket online at PAL, we chose to include the travel tax (1,620 pesos) in the total ticket price. I only paid the 550 pesos terminal fee at NAIA 2.

Maybe other airlines have that option as well.

Being PAL is a Philippines airlines I would say they are the exception with that. For other airlines I would bet only if the ticket is purchased in the Philippines.
