I-134, Affidavit of Support form, question 11 asks if (I intend or do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person (my fiancee) named in item 3).

How do i answer this question?

i am not going to be giving her a monthly or weekly allowance or specific amounts over specific times. when she gets here my money becomes our money and we will use it on an as needed basis.

my first thought is to answer no to this question.

thank you for answering ahead of time

The Example Forms on VJ give a very good example http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;page=examples . I used this when completing my paperwork. Here it states for question 11 "N/A (K1 Visa Process for Permament Residence)"

ken b,

It makes little difference how this question is answered.

I checked 'yes' and wrote something like 'will provide food, clothing, housing, and all other living expenses'. Because that's an accurate description of what I did intend to provide.

You're thinking of answering 'no'? You intend to let her fend for herself?

You answer yes, I will provide room and board while she is unemployed. That is what the attorney put on my I-134. I thought that was a bit odd to say but after doing a google search and reading about the form that appears to be the terminology they want.

as Yodrak points out, no right or wrong answer to this question. it pertains more to other forms of non-immigrant visas. I checked yes and wrote " all expenses as needed."
