APPROVED INTERVIEW REFUSED VISA ON CEAC WEBSITE

Ok my VJ Fam, please help us. Our interview was approved on December 23, 2013. I have been waiting here in Santo Domingo for his passport. I checked the CEAC.state.gov website today and it says that his visa was denied! It says to review the instructions given to us at the interview for our denial. We weren't denied! We were asked lots of questions which I will post later but our interview was approved. The only paper we received from our interview was our ticket to pay for shipping his passport to the house. We received our ticket to pay the domex and our tracking #. The domex website says "DOCUMENTO EN TRAMITES DEL CONSULADO."

What is going on? Please point us in the right direction.

I recommend to call santo dominigo... even tho they are horrible with us, they wont give any information over the phone. I second opition is to call Department of State and see they could help you out

That number is for Juarez and will do the OP from the DR no good to call. The embassy/consulate that approves and issues the visas is part of the DoS. Did you never get a waybill# to track through &

In DR you need to bring ds-156k the day of interview. If you dont bring it, you have delay on your process

I would say you should call the embassy right away and explain the conflict and at the very least express you would like to come in to get the proper denial paperwork so you can move forward getting it corrected

8/13/2013: CEAC STATUS - administrative processing

8/15/2013: CEAC STATUS - ISSUED

8/26/2013: received VISA

9/05/2013: POE - GUAM -Flight from MNL to El Paso, TX- BEST DAY EVER =)

10/5/2013: Married!!

11/13/2013: Filed AOS / EAD/ & AP

11/18/2013: NOA1 all

12/12/2013: Biometrics completed

05/27/2014: AOS Interview

05/27/2014: AOS approved Received GC a week later.

10/08/2014: Report of Marriage & Passport Renewal LA Consultate General

Hopefully they wil say....lets see here....ye syou were approved ignore that update there is a system glitch.

BUT

if they dont and they insist you are denied its best to stick to what you can do and not what you can't =).

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

Feb 13, 2013 ~ Alien Number Changed/Assigned

May 24, 2013 ~ Case Transferred from Vermont to Texas Service Center (3 E~Notices May 24, 25 and 29 Only one via U.S. Mail)

July 2, 2013 ~ RFE Notification Email and Text Rec'd

July 8, 2013 ~ RFE Hardcopy Rec'd (Requesting Signed/Original "Intent to Marry within 90 days of Arrival" letter from both parties.)

I just called the visa immagration center and was told that our case was open and no information was in the system as of why his passport has not been issued. They are sending an e-mail to find out what is the hold up. Sigh....This can not be happening right now..

Ok, here is another update....I just used the DS-160 form and put in the confirmation # for our application. The results said his visa was Issued Dec. 30, 2013. Now I am even more confuse. We will leave early in the morning to go back to the embassy where we had our interview to try to get answers.sleepy.gif

Just checked again and our DS=160 application results says NO STATUS...does anyone have any answers or suggestions?

At first I was using our case # and it said visa refused. Then I used our application # from the DS-160 form and it said that his visa was issued. This was all today, now I just checked our application # again from the DS-160 form and it saying NO STATUS. sigh...
