Hi everyone, so having a bit of trouble with this question on the DS-160. I am planning on accompany my fiancee when she comes to the states and unsure if this question should be answered yes or no. They don't give an option to select fiancé, so not sure if they intended this question the way I interpreted it.

The purpose of that question is are there others traveling with you on a US Visa. You as a US Citizen would not have a US Visa so the answer to that question is no.

I answered yes since my fiance will coming to my interview and intend to bring me back to US if my visa is approved. I think was choose "other" and they will ask you are travelling with group or alone. I don't have now my printed DS-160 forms because I left at work so I can't give you exact answer about that. But if you will travelling back with her to US, put yes.

DS-160 form is filled out by beneficiary so the purpose of question refers to the beneficiary not the petitioner as my understanding.

DS-160 form is NOT ONLY for K-1 visa. DS-160 form is also for another non-immigrant visas so people who applied B-2 visa, for instance, have to filled out the form as well. That's why they have such question like that.

I am well aware the DS-160 is completed by the beneficiary, my answer was worded in a manner directly addressing the OP. I also stand by my original statement as the purpose of the question is who is traveling the applicant on a US visa and the OP as a US Citizen with a US Passport would not have a US visa.

Ryan H, is correct. The answer is 'No'. The question pertains to those traveling with you as in family members such as children with derivative K-2 visas. It is not asking about the USC fiance(e) coming to fly back with you on the plane.

So then I have a question in regards to my fiancé's form on this question. He has 3 kids that will be coming on the K2 visa. We are not sure if they will travel with him or more likely follow to join us after he comes. There is no "following to join" answer, so would I then say "yes"?

Thanks for the help!! :)
