As many other Vjers had experience here, CSC is infamous for being slow sent the approval petition to NVC. But you can started calling them 2 weeks after approval. I've got my case number 2 weeks from approval date but my case file was processing at TSC. I hope others here can chime in their experience at CSC. Some of them are still waiting case number after 8 weeks. Good luck!

Of course. I was the one who always making calls to NVC or DoS (Visa Unit), -I am the beneficiary as well-. I use Skype unlimited subscription everytime I had to call them.

You can call both of them. But I did not have luck with NVC and eventually got my case number through DoS (Visa Unit). You don't have to wait too long when you call DoS. When they already assigned you a case number, they will ask the petitioner and beneficiary name and DoB both of you.
