Hello guyz, I was interviewed January 7 but put on 221g due to NBI with a.k.a.Embassy received my doc on the 21st and hand over to the consul on the 23rd as per the embassy when I called.I checked my status on CEAC on Friday but still on AP. I tracked my status everyday since the day the embassy received my NBI but it showed AP though the case status update change everyday as well.What does this mean? Why there is no changes on my status? I feel worried and anxious everyday. I have 2 dependents but same as mine they are on AP but they did not recieved any 221g after the interview. Please enlighten me guys.

Heeey! We had our interview the same day! You must have been somewhere there...nice to know!

Anyways, to your question, Give them about 3 working days leeway from the time they handed it to the American consul. There should be status change around noon today or tomorrow--depending on the complication of the case. It may also take longer. Your case seems easy so there should be no problem.

Your dependents' status, for as long as they are minors, piggy back on your case. Update on their visa status will take effect as soon as yours does.

Hi, I called the embassy to follow up on my visa today, but it just kept ringing. Until what time do they receive calls and what's the average wait time you experienced when calling them? Thanks!!!!

^{I called today around 2PM and got right through.....Ours is still in "ready state" after a Jan 16th interview. Was told it was hung up because of my son switching form K2 to doing a CRBA. Seems the K1 and other K2 didn't move on as they said it would. Was told they will get it moving and to check back Thursday.}

You know what was frustrating, was calling from a mobile phone and using up P1000+/- just following up from the USEM. So I found a secret.

If your status becomes ISSUED on the CEAC website, it takes about 2-3 to 7 working days for them to send out your visa with the packet. Now, how do you check where your visa is--I kept asking 2Go operators their usual routine with the USEM.

(1) Every weekdays, M-F at 4:30pm USEM sends out the visa to 2Go courier for delivery

(2) At around 5:30pm, your name should already be in their (2Go's) system if your visa is with them already that means it should be on its way to you. If not then maybe it would be sent out to them the next day, so best tume to follow up is at 5:30pm.

(3) If your visa is with them, ask for the tracking number from the operator so you can check it on their e-tracking website.

Better to call 2Go at (+63) 2 7799222 to check. I thinks its a 24-hour customer service.

USEM on the orher hand has recently been unreachable. It's operations shoul be from 8am-8pm--but no use calling!

RedPepped howd u know ur on the list of the names at 2Go?

coz in wondering if their gona update the name list of the passports they have in their system upon receiving at 530pm.

their hotline is only til 7pm weekdays. til 5pm on a Saturday.

Not the news we would all hope for, I know...but the thing is--if we were not approved, we won't make it this far! So the good news is--the visa

Will be given soon! Sometimes delays are a blessing in disguise...a test of patience though

I know I can't say anything that'll make you feel better--I just pray that everything will turn out well, the soonest possible time! Good luck!
