when exactly is the AOS fee bill generated? I got my case number and IIN on 12/27/13 my husband submitted the ds261 on 1/17/14 but the AOS is still showing up "not invoiced." Is there something wrong?

Try a different browser. Also call NVC and ask. Yours should already be generated as its close to a month since you got your case number.

Are you transferring to a different embassy? another country?

If so I think you will be issued a new case number and that could be why its not generated yet.

Call and find out for sure.

Hi everyone, When filling out the DS-260, last name entry is mandatory but my wife only has a first and middle name but no last name does anyone have experience with how they want it to be placed?

What does it say in the passport?

you were correct - I called and asked. The very rude representative said since they are "in the process of changing the case number it won't be generated until that is taken care of." Well that answers my question… she also said, along with the countless other representatives (since I call every day), that there is no timeframe for when the case number will be changed… great! I hope it doesn't take that long to get a case number changed! :(

They have successfully reviewed IV packet..

But they din review checklist of AOS..till now..

Now what to say??????

great news you got today from the NVC as for the IV package got reviewed and accepted and don't worry the AOS checklist will be reviewed ..so the IV package they reviewed they scanned it into the system on December 31 which tells me they are working now on the January cases :)

The only signature needed will be the petitioner on the I-864 for the AOS, everything else is online (DS 260 and DS 261).

Start gathering your documents and have them ready......

I'm in the same boat are you, my friend.My case was entered in Jan 6th, and DS-261 was available last week, still waiting on the AOS to be payable :(

hello everyone there are some operators at the NVC are really don't need to be working over there i called today to check out about my AOS checklist then i have been told by an operator that they reviewed the AOS checklist today i will get a checklist and then i called again and i have been told by an operator to give 30 business days and when i told her what i found out from the other operator she said the AOS checklist under review i really am lost i don't know which to believe this is sucks

Quick update:-

AOS & IV fees showed as "PAID". IV showed paid in the morning and DS260 was also available. Later in the afternoon AOS turned to paid status. DS260 filled. Attorney is planning to send the pkt tomorrow. (I think he is trying to send both AOS & IV together, will that be OK??)

A false checklist for IV documents typically indicates the AOS package was accepted. Call up to confirm!
