I put $0 for my income because im a full time student. my dad is sponsoring.

they said i need to send in a letter stating that im a full time student unemployed...thats all.

Have you confirmed with another operator though that's the one and only mistake?

I was so excited like you to get my case number but can't do anything with it?? Cant pay AOS or do online forms because it says not invoiced yet:(( Got my case number on the phone January 3rd??

Hey at least I'm closer than yesterday I'll just become obsessed with checking to see if we can pay the fees and fill out the forms. I'd rather this looking online thing, than calling NVC every day and waiting on hold for 30 min lol.

And another question:

In response to my post yesterday, someone said the beneficiary should get a police report from any country where they lived for more than 6 months. The only country that my husband lived for that long a time was the US on his temporary work visa (when we met). Should I look into getting him a police report from my city?

Nope, US police certificates aren't needed. NVC do their own background checks.

got confused again reading things about AOS

husband became USC thru naturalization

for the AOS of mine (wife) - husband will fill out i-864 and i-864a for the joint sponsor (joint sponsor not in the same household as husband)

as for my 2 minor children ages 3 and 9 - husband will fie i-864w // does he need to include his tax return transcirpt?

can he send the 3 cases in one envelope like with what he did in filing i-130?

arghh.. the more i read the more confuse i get.

there is no medical right now until the case completed at the NVC and interview scheduled by the embassy so that is the time for the medical record to be done in between the case completed and interview scheduled

Thanks but are you sure this is correct? I have seen many people attend their medical way before their case is completed at NVC. I'm only asking as I am keen to get the medical process out of the way asap. I thought you only need a case number. That is what I have seen people say from the UK anyway.

wahoo ! Please consider to OPT IN to the OPTIONAL NVC Electronic Processing for Guangzhou. Shaves off 2 to 5 months of waiting after the case is completed at NVC.

Ok, that makes sense. I guess London is one of the few that does then as most people I see on British Expats have their medical completed before case completed at NVC.

Just had my medical today, ridiculous amount of money for a 10 minute simple medical check up. Now I'm just waiting for case complete and an interview date! Thank god for this process coming to an end!

Question: on the NOA2 in the box where my hubby's name is, there is an A#. Is this his permant A# or some kind of temporary #? And should I use this # on I 864 and anywhere else it may ask for an A# or just leave it blank? Thanks!
