I tried calling NVC and it says number is busy??? anyone else has this issue?

Just try again later.. Monday is always a busy day i called at around 7:05am EST and was on hold for like 15mins..

Have you actually tried logging into the online forms portal? Don't rely on correspondence...

Yes saylin I have but every time I am getting this message: Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

Our I-130 was apporved on Dec 9th..I just called NVC today and they told me they recieved our case on Dec 23rd and to wait 10 to 20 business days for it to be put in their system. The semi-rude operator told me to wait until the end of the month to call back..Crazy bulls*it..I counted and it's 3 more business till thee 10 days kicks in and then I'l call every day.

Is there something else I can do to speed the process ?

Nope. If there was, everyone would be doing it!

If they've already received your case, I'd suggest to keep calling once a day. It can be assigned any day now... And just ignore the rude operators.

yes, the first few tries it was busy. then, i finally got through to them after being on hold for 12 minutes.

postal mail? No. However, I did get mines via email, imbedded in the AOS fee bill file attachment.

Just checking in and wanted to give an update. We are just waiting for the NVC to review our IV packet. I called this afternoon and the operator was very kind. He said to try back in a few days. He said the best time to call is before 9am and after 9pm eastern time. Im getting excited because we had no checklists so far from AOS and Im certain we will have an interview date very very soon!

I Check the website this morning and My AOS bill show as Paid.

IV bill show as not Available.

It'll probably take 2-4 weeks for the IV bill to show up from the day you submitted the DS-261.

I just called NVC they have received my file already. I was approved on Dec 17, so I'm expecting to call on Friday again if the case number has been assigned. I can't wait to finish this process and have the interview date and bring my wife over.

how long did it take to get the email with the AOS bill? When I login to pay it say's $00 due not invoiced yet.
