Wow after 11 months to the day my husbands CR 1 Visa appointment is scheduled for Jan 24th. It took exactly 1 year from the time our paperwork hit the embassy to his interview appointment. I received packet 4 in the mail today. What a Christmas present

OH I SEE, SO NVC COMPLETED YOUR CASE (2006-01-22) EVEN BEFORE YOU RECIEVED YOU Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill : 2006-11-28. (according to your timelime) That might have been the reason why it took for about one year for you to be scheduled for interview after the completion of the case.

SORRY!

This is not the reason. The current wait time for spousal visa interviews in Ciudad Juarez is one year.
