Dear all,

My case got approved on Dec 12, and they said they sent a notice to us. As i have researching from some forums, everybody says that NVC will send us a checklist and we have to submit them more paperworks if they ask for. I'm wondering that my case didnt have any RFEs, so why they would ask for more paperworks such as a copy of my birth cert or I-864??? Can send them the form DS-230 in advanced when the notice not come to us yet??? Because some people say they sent it in advanced then they auto attach them to my check list and issue a case number??

How much for the fee after NOA2??? i dont have any clues about the steps after I130 got approved. How long can we expect to get the notice?

Any friends here know the process ? please share me some advice.

Thank you

You've a lot of questions !!!

Please study LingChe in the Wiki for process at the NVC.

Mostly, the answer to your questions is 'NO',

as stuff proceeds in 2 parallel streams for fee payment and doc intake.

DS-230? No one uses that anymore.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

now you have to use DS260 IF INDIVIDUALLY

IF AGENT AND ATTORNEY THEN DS261

No everyone sends the DS-261. Most people select the petitioner as the agent because if there is any snail mail items, then it will be mailed to them vs overseas. Normally there are no snail mail items however
