Hello all I need your advice please.

My huby had his interview on November 7 th and we were told approved, they took his passport an gave him the pink ticket to pick it up. Soon after they had him placed on AP (same message we had for a yer now). When I woke up and checked the status this morning this is what we have:

So now I am happy but freaked out that they are saying another interview. Do you think this just means it is ready and the interview part is just a standard message?

It has been 2 years and 1 month since we started this, I am so excited and yet a little paniced since we have had so many ups and downs in this process.......rofl.gif

sounds like he's to have another interview.

since it's been a year since his last interview,

prep a new medical exam and a new police clearance report as he'll need both to successful wrap up his visa interview.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

He needs to go prepared to have another interview. My husband was in the exact same situation, he had a second interview and was approved. However, I have seen others in the identical situation and get disapproved so you never know it is best to be prepared. Good luck,

MIBEN

When ours said "Ready" on CEAC after the interview and approval apparently it was under Administrative Review- so it just means your visa is undergoing processing and review before it gets issued. Don't be surprised if it changes to AP again (for like a day) before it goes to Issued because that's what ours did.

OK - sorry, I missed a year. Not on purpose, I swear.

For clarity, call the DoS Hotline on Monday, when they are open, and inquire for casefile status.

Sometimes CEAC status is wonky. DoS Hotline knows all, however.

I called DoS yesterday and all is good. Stated we should have papers within two weeks. So happy and so excited, just wish it could all be before Christmas eve. But truly the blessing is, it is finally happening and we can start a new chapter in our life and journey. Will be ahpy when we can book the flight and I can see his smiling face at the airport.

Happy Holidays to all!
