how long does sdo us embassy take to assign an interview date??

Hey everyone,Im a little concerned on how the Us embassy management in Santo Domingo goes,our approved K1 petition arrived to DR in early Nov. by Nov.14 we had our case number and case arrived to US embassy by Nov.15 ,I've been calling the visa specialist twice a week and still case is still pending no interview date yet :( in two days my case will have a month sitting in US embassy is this normal,if so please let me know how long you guys waited,im hoping we get interview date by beginning of March very end Feb I guess...please help me im suffering from anxiety already ughh

Call on Monday you may hear something. If I remember correctly for the k-1 visa's they assign the date's around the 15th of the month.

uffff crossed fingers hopefully :) we get our interview date ive been waiting so much and cold winter makes me miss him more its my first time being away from him after meeting in person we stayed living together happily ever after lol and now feel different not being with him...

I got my date 3 weeks after my case arrived at embassy. My appointment date was given on the 30th of october which was not the 15th of the month

 

8/22/15 Received notice of interview "call in letter" for September 1st 8am

9/01/15 AOS Interview Houston-APPROVED!

9/01/15 Card in production, Welcome notice has been mailed

9/05/15 Welcome Notice Received

9/08/15 Greencard was mailed

9/10/15 GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!!!!

 

ROC

6/2/17 mailed I-751 to csc priority mail

7/1/17 I-751 returned rejected (multiple items)

7/3/17 I-751 mailed again with signature confirmation

7/6/17 second I-751 delivered and signed for by Daniel Manchaca

7/10/17  Check Cashed

7/10/17  NOA

7/22/17  Biometrics letter for 8/2/17

8/02/17 Biometrics appointment DONE

3/05/18 case moved to local office

8/25/18 Extension letter (18 months)

9/29/18 service request submitted

10/06/18 response to service request

10/11/18  approved. No RFE, no interview

10/16/18  approval letter received in the mail

10/19/18 greencard received

Hunn the visaspecialist is 202-485-7600 dont listen to the operator just dial 1 and 0

Well,twin we have exactelly 3 weeks that our papers arrived to consulate,

Hope to have good news next week

twin I called embassy today and they said that the embassy has my case since Nov. 27th they told me to wait at least 4 more weeks :(

I'm in the same situation. My case has been at the embassy since the Nov.14 and still nor. I call every week. I really hope we get this before his birthday in late March
