yep i filed April and still nothing

Wow we are not alone although sometimes it feels like it. This year has sucked bad as I was denied a B2 visa in March which means I'm not even allowed to visit my fiancée in Vegas. She has come here twice but now can't get anymore time off work. How do u copy as some days I just feel so down its unreal and other days I feel hopeful?

We're in a similar situation, my husband is petitioner in Cali and I'm in Australia. I've been here since May, he had a 2 week visit here in August and I won't see him again till I migrate because I stupidly entered the US without a return ticket at the start of the year (we left china where we were working and were going to book my return with frequent flyer miles at a later date when we figured what state I'd be leaving from) so I am not prepared to try enter on visitor visa and have them turn me away upon suspicion of intent to over stay. He won't be visiting again because he recently started at a new company so can't take leave in the next 6 months.

Just stay busy and try to convince yourselves that there are positives out of the situation. My husband and I have been making a sort of game of how much money we can save (living the lame life of a single) and also both going to the gym getting really fit and healthy, with the motivation that we'll see each other's progress big time because it's been so long.

I'll also buy things like a picnic rug off Amazon or other things for our home and send to him so there's that reminder that there will be an end to this and we'll be able to have a great life together.

The worst part for me is that I found a job here and no one knows I'm eventually going to move away. I have been working in Marketing and have 2 degrees but am working in retail because I wanted something I could just quit at the last moment. It's so hard on the ego to work such a job and act as if I really am just working retail full time. It's easy to get depressed but I hold on to the thought of the day I fly out.

There's a lot of movement right now for April filers, I wouldn't be surprised if you got approval by Christmas!
